Connect your AI app
Open the setup guide for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex, and follow the steps to add PlaceFlow.

Sign in and approve
Use the same PlaceFlow account you use on your iPhone and approve the connection. You can revoke its access whenever you want.

Ask, then take it with you
Ask for a new trip, a change to your itinerary, or a few new places. Have the agent save the result, then open PlaceFlow to review your plan.

Before you connect.
Is this a chatbot inside PlaceFlow?
No. PlaceFlow provides a secure connection for supported external AI clients. The conversation, research, and reasoning happen in the client you choose; PlaceFlow remains the organized home for the places and trips you want to keep.
What can a connected agent change?
It can list and search places; create, edit, and delete places; create, edit, and delete trips; and add, edit, reorder, or remove their stops. Managing tags, visits, and photos through an agent is outside the current scope. A place cannot be deleted while a visit or trip stop depends on it.
Can the agent discover new places for me?
The PlaceFlow connection itself is not a discovery engine. An agent may research with capabilities available in its own client, then save the places you choose into PlaceFlow. Research quality and availability depend on that external client.
How does the MCP connection work?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It lets a supported AI client ask PlaceFlow to read or update specific account data after you authorize the connection. You sign in through PlaceFlow, approve access, and can revoke that access later from Connections.
What plans and permissions do I need?
AI connections are available to all PlaceFlow users, within your existing free or paid plan limits. You also need a compatible AI app; connector availability may depend on its subscription and your organization’s permissions. New to PlaceFlow? Download the iOS app and create an account first, then use that same account when connecting.
How do I remove access?
Open Connections in PlaceFlow and revoke the client. Revoking stops that connection from accessing your account in the future; you can reconnect later if you change your mind.
